We’re also excited to share that TNA received a much-needed grant from the City of Knoxville’s Office of Neighborhood Empowerment to make some improvements to our park!

There’s a lot we’d like to accomplish, so we’ve added two additional volunteer days for neighbors who want to help us put that grant to work:

Sunday, October 18 | 1–4 PM
Saturday, October 24 | 9 AM–Noon

Projects will include:
• Installing a new basketball hoop and backboard
• Filling cracks and pressure washing the basketball court
• Adding new game lines to the court
• Installing a retractable pickleball net
• Installing new parking blocks

Come for as much or as little time as you can. We appreciate every extra set of hands!

Need service hours? These volunteer days are also a great opportunity for students who need community service hours for school, clubs, Scouts, or other organizations. Just find a TNA board member while you’re there and we’ll be happy to sign your form.
