Registration for the 2025 Timbercrest Recreation Club pool season is now open to Timbercrest residents and previous members who reside outside of Timbercrest (“non-residents”).
But how do I become a member? Great question!
Step 1. Register
Registration forms are available:
- online at: https://timbercrestrecreationclub.square.site
- as a PDF download: https://timbercrestneighborhood.org/sites/default/files/TRC%20Membership%20Registration%20Form%202025.pdf
- as a hard copy upon request
Non-resident registration is limited to previous members until May 1, 2025. After that, available spots will be opened to new non-residents. The maximum number of non-resident memberships is 50.
If you are a previous non-resident member who will not join the pool in 2025, please let us know so we can plan for open spots.
Step 2. Pay for Your Membership
Choose the membership that’s right for you. For membership descriptions and other information, see the Timbercrest pool page: https://timbercrestneighborhood.org/pool
The 2025 membership fees remain the same as last year. Fees are:
- $285 for Timbercrest families
- $325 for non-resident families
- $155 for Timbercrest singles and grandparents
- $190 for non-resident singles and grandparents
We are able to keep the TRC fees the same as last year because of operational cost savings realized by the off-season work done to the main drain plumbing and pump house.
We accept payment in several ways:
- Pay online at: https://timbercrestrecreationclub.square.site
- Mail check payable to Timbercrest Recreation Club, 5247 Lance Dr., Knoxville, TN 37909
- Deliver check to the pool (drop in the mailbox or contact a board member)
Step 3. Donate
Your donations and fees have given us the ability to improve the pool. Recent large projects have replaced the pool coping (the edge), roofed the pool house, and repaired the main drain plumbing, which included building the new deck space.
We have planned capital projects coming in the next few years. The biggest of those is the resurfacing of the pool’s interior. It will be an expense, but worthwhile, to have that done professionally. Other projects include improving the drainage around the pool area and replacing aging equipment in the pump house.
If you can afford to, consider donating to the pool to build the fund for these projects: https://timbercrestneighborhood.org/pool/donate
Step 4. Read the Policies and Rules
Be sure to review the TRC policies and rules before the pool season: https://timbercrestneighborhood.org/pool/policies
Step 5. Volunteer
Thank you for all the hours you have put into this pool and park. It is a great place to be because of the volunteers that sustain it from year to year. This year, we are asking every family to volunteer for something. Put the area you will volunteer for during 2025 in your registration.
Step 6. Take the Survey
The pool board would like to know your opinion about the pool. One way to tell us what you think is to fill out the 2025 Timbercrest Pool Survey: https://forms.gle/BFBeZTbXEeN9pS8N8
Everyone is welcome to fill out the survey. We learn a lot, even from those who choose not to join the pool. Contact us for a paper survey.
